Brownie
250g butter
½ cup cocoa
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla essence
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
icing sugar to dust
- grease a shallow 20cm square baking tin
- melt butter, when melted stir in cocoa
- stir in sugar and add eggs one at a time, beating well after each egg is added
- beat in essence
- sift baking powder and flour together, then add to the bowl
- bake at 180° for 30 minutes
- allow to cool then dust with icing sugar
