I did not meet my uncle, but have inherited his wartime letters, photos and letters recounting his tramping adventures. If you were a member of the club at the time, or knew George, I would love to hear more about him. The TTC Photo Competition this year is your chance to find out how good your images are, and learn some techniques for taking better ones. If you've been considering getting more "into it", by reading books, buying a better camera, or learning about digital photo editing, then now is good time. The quality of your camera, lens and sensor makes a lot of difference to the results, and cropping or enhancing images on your computer can be an absorbing and rewarding hobby. More info can be found closer to the time at Photo Competition 2010
