Hiring Tararua Lodge
The Tararua Tramping Club (TTC) encourages other groups to benefit from the use of Tararua Lodge, particularly over the summer period.
The TTC will supply a club member to help new groups run the lodge.
Tararua Lodge is especially suitable for school groups, tramping clubs, geology trips, etc.
Tararua Lodge availability
Tararua Lodge has a high availability over the summer months with only a few TTC club trips using it.
During the peak ski season (August to October) the lodge is usually utilised by TTC club members and availability is limited to outside groups.
TTC plans its winter usage in May, so winter bookings made by May stand the best chance of being accommodated.
Otherwise Tararua Lodge can be booked for any day except for those that are listed on the fixture card as having a club trip there.
A 'lodge day' usually runs from 5pm to 5pm.

In addition to the hire costs, hirers must also provide food and possibly transport for the TTC Lodge Assistant.
