Wed 17 Easy trip to Colinial Knob had 14 members. Conditions were blowy.

Anniversary Weekend

The M/F trip into the Waitewaewae basin had 5 members. They got into Waitewaewae forks in the dry but two days rain forced a change of plan.

Sunday 21 E/M trip to Sinclair Head had 4 members and 1 non-member. Peter Lapsley reports that he was the only male and had to fight off the women. Enjoyable!

Wednesday 24 E/M trip into East Harbour Regional Park visited the last bit of untracked bush in the park. There was 12 members and 1 non-member. The BBB trip to Te Raekaihau Point had 6 members and enjoyed themselves.

Saturday 27. The M/F day trip had 7 members. They traversed the stream which drains the west face of Kapakapanui peak which was swollen after overnight rain. They then climber 'Masaki's spur' from the headwater forks to the summit. The spur is good going but relentless climbing. Stream flows were back to normal by the end of the day.

Sunday 28 Chris Horne and Barbara Mitcalfe ran the Super Sewer Tour Mark 6. 10 members and 3 non-members. Activities involved squeezing through storm water culverts, bushwhacking, collecting rubbish. They were able to report a broken 20cm sewer pipe to the Council.
