On Wednesday the ramble went as far as Mac’s Hut on the Five Mile. They inspected the new swing bridge on the way. 16 members, 1 non member The off-track exploration traversed the full length of the south branch of Peak stream to Peak in the Orongorongos, for a great day out. 6 members On Sunday the trip was from the Wainui Hill road summit along the firebreak to Wright Street, ending in the leader’s summerhouse for afternoon tea. 14 members, 2 non members |
