City to Sea Walkway – 18 members and 2 non members enjoyed the fine weather for this walk. It was great cycling weather for the South Kapiti Coast trip – 1 member Mt Hector was the goal of the medium/fit trip on Saturday – 6 members The lodge trip to St Arnaud enjoyed great weather, great walks, great views, wonderful birdlife – a great social event. Places visited included Parachute Rock on the St Arnaud range, the Robert Ridge where a falcon glided over the group, Speargrass Flat, and Coldwater hut. 25 members, 3 non members The medium trip to the Richmond Range proved to be a fit trip, with one 16 hour day/night, and an extra night out. However they enjoyed great weather and great views. 5 members The Family group lodge trip was based at the old Kawhatau school house near Taihape. They had trips up to Colenso trig and Rangiwahia. 28 people, children aged from 4.5 years to 16 years. |
