Tramping Reports Wednesday 2007 Jun 27 to Tuesday 2007 Jul 03The Wednesday E/M trip from Stokes Valley had 15 members and 1 non-member, damp in the morning, sun in the afternoon. The Wednesday BBB had 9 members and it ran as planned despite the blustery southerly. The party of 8 members who were supposed do a weekend trip to Roaring Stag hut were sensible and opted instead to flee the rain by heading for Castle Point. They missed most of the rain and were able to watch the sun rise over the Pacific Ocean. This sort of tramping involves dishwashers, fridges and TVs. The alpine instruction course had 15 members and 13 non-members. There was lots of rain. The Sunday E/M had 6 members and 1 non-member and report that they didn't get 'very' wet. Total 38 members and 2 non members |
