The Wednesday E trip to cattle Ridge had 16 members and 1 non-member. They stayed dry but it was only 5 degrees at lunch time. The weekend trip to Mitre was changed to a Saturday daytrip to climb Mt Matthews. Two members and 1 non-member. There were 14 people up at the lodge, including 6 learners. One (a member) managed to break his leg on the Friday - before the trip officially started. The rest managed to get in plenty of skiing. The Saturday medium daytrip was changed to East Harbour RP. There are still some routes in the park known only to Peter and Michael. There were 9 members. The Pukerua Bay-Plimmerton family trip postponed from the previous weekend was cancelled owing to weather. The family trip along the Southern Walkway was also cancelled. The leader turned up for the Sunday easy trip but no-one else did. In spite of the weather there was 41 members and 2 non-members out during the week. |
