Tramping Reports Wednesday 2007 Aug 29 to Tuesday 2007 Sept 4A week for cancellations. The Wednesday M trip did not run. The Wednesday cycle trip had two members. The weekend E trip to Cone did not run. The weekend M trip to Alpha did not run. The weekend at the lodge had 12 people for great weather on Friday and Saturday contrary to the forecast. Great dinner Saturday night. The Saturday M trip did not run. The Saturday M/F trip did not run. the Sunday E/M to Otari - Kaukau had 12 members and 5 non-members. It was windy on the tops and the trip ended with fresh pikelets at the leader's. Five members and one non-member made a trip to Robson's Lodge at Kuripapango in the Southern Kawekas. They climbed Mt Te Iringa, visited the Blowhard Bush Reserve, and did a circuit from The Lakes carpark via Mackintosh Hut. Total 31 members and 6 non members |
