On Wednesday there were 6 members on the BBB trip from Mt Victoria to the Zoo. All had a good time in sunshine and rather fresh air. The Wednesday E/M trip from Days Bay to Butterfly Creek via Hawtrey and Middle Ridge was enjoyed by 18 members and 2 non members. On Saturday, in cold damp conditions, 5 members and one German visitor traversed Pinnacle Ridge, admiring the glimpses of snow on Jumbo, and came out along the Atiwhakatu track. The river crossing instruction course proved very successful, and perhaps should be repeated regularly. 10 members On Sunday the trip up to Powell hut found traces of snow still around. 2 members, 4 non members |
