Three members enjoyed the Karori Park-Skyline circuit on a beautiful day.

Also on Wednesday seven members climbed up Cone for the fine views of the Tararua Peaks.

The Medium/Fit trip had a good day going up the upper Ohau River to the hut before climbing up the ridge to Square Knob and back to Poads Road. Three members.

The River Crossing instruction course was again successful – 6 pupils and 2 instructors.

Bushcraft 1 – Map and Compass instruction, took the group up into Belmont Regional Park, in the rain. 17 students, 5 instructors.

Malcolm Cunningham’s trip up to Waiau Pass found the upper east Sabine very rough and slow going, which meant the trip took an extra day. Good weather except one day when exposed at Lake Tennyson. 4 members

Rodney Pfeffer’s Nelson Lakes trip over Moss Pass enjoyed the wonderful weather also. Unfortunately they found lots of wasp nests. 7 members

Peggy Munn’s Tararua tops trip traversed Cattle Ridge, Bannister, Dundas and Herepai. Three perfect days with grand views, the last day very windy. 4 members

The Family group had a walk around George Denton Park before their BBQ in the rain on Sunday. 7 adults and 8 children

Seven members with our Voluntary Ranger Francis, enjoyed a full eight hour walk through immense pristine native bush of the Wainuiomata Water Catchment area. From Moores Valley into the Orongrongo Catchment area, then back to the Wainui River area. A demanding day with some good rain showers - to allay hopefully further major water restrictions
