Eight members went to Hokitika to undertake a variety of short trips. After 10 successive days of tramping, with only one day's rain, a few bodies started falling apart with complaints of sore hips, knees etc and so the trip was ended earlier than originally planned. Two of us stayed for three more days and did a trip in the Paparoas in glorious weather.
