Waitewaewae Hut was a full, happy hut on Saturday night, including five Tararua members who had a full day’s tramp in and back out again. A good time had by all. In typical Tararua weather calm, clear, warm, with excellent views seven members on the M/F day trip went up to Hector, 8.5 hours gotowo. The Medium Saturday trip saw four members in the Gollans Valley area. The Sunday Medium trip did not quite make Table Top, but had a great day in the Tararuas. 7 members, 1 non member Also on Sunday, the easy trip had a pleasant stroll up Colonial Knob and back. The young Family group took 34 people into Karori Sanctuary for an enjoyable wander. 16 adults, 18 children. |
