- heat oil and fry onions until soft
- add mince beef and fry
- add rest of ingredients except spaghetti, butter, and cheese
- bring to boil, cover
- lower heat and simmer for 1 hour
- cook spaghetti until tender, drain, run hot water through to separate
- add butter and serve with meat sauce over
- sprinkle with cheese
