Arthur’s Pass Meet
6-21 March 2021
The meet held over two weeks in March at Arthur’s Pass was very successful. Thirty eight people took advantage of the opportunity to explore the Arthur’s Pass area. With accommodation spread over three lodges, the logistics were somewhat complex but trips went ahead, group meals were enjoyed and overall everyone had a great time. Nineteen day-trips took place and eleven trips were away for one or more nights. The club van was a huge asset and thanks go to the drivers and to those who used their private cars to help out. The weather was close to perfect and the two rain days were appreciated by those who needed a rest. Although the meet was organised by a small group of people, its success lay in the willingness of everyone to pitch in when needed.
