Perfect Porridge

Ingredients

Directions

Ingredients are best mixed the night before and left to soak

  • mix rolled oats and milk powder ingredients in a solid bottomed saucepan
  • add water or milk
  • bring to boil, stirring continuously
  • simmer and stir over a moderate heat for 2 to 3 minutes, until desired consistency is reached
  • stir and serve.

(To help with the cleaning, ensure the saucepan is filled with cold water immediately after serving)

  • Brown sugar and milk
  • Fruit and yoghurt
  • Bananas and cinnamon
  • Honey
  • Icecream

Ratio of ingredients are

  • 1 rolled oats to 2¼ parts liquid
  • 1 milk powder to 4 parts milk powder
