Add In the hills articles from Tararua Tramper - monthly
- create the new In the hills page in the In the hills group
- follow the instructions for Task Trip Reports to load the In the hills article text and photos from the Tararua Tramper
- enter the text from the Tramper article sections under the same section headings on the page
- in the hills articles have their own page template with specific metadata fields
- update the metadata fields as follows
- Photo: change if necessary, e.g.
(:Photo: Jeremy Rolfe and Chris Horne:) - Species: enter the species name from the article, e.g.
(:Species: Pellaea rotundifolia:) - MaoriName: enter the Māori name from the article, e.g.
(:MaoriName: Tarawera, Pellaea:) - CommonName: enter the Common name from the article, e.g.
(:CommonName: Round-leaved fern, Button fern, NZ cliff brake:) - Month: enter the Tramper month, e.g.
(:Month: July:) - nzflora: Visit the website https://nzflora.info// and search by latin name
- in the search box enter the species name and click the search button
- in the search results find the species or the closest equivalent
- click on the
Taxon button
- copy the URL of the page that opens
- paste the URL into the nzflora metadata field
- e.g.
(:nzflora:https://nzflora.info/factsheet/Taxon/Pellaea-rotundifolia.html:)
- add the photos
- rename the photos by prefixing the photographers' name followed by "
-" to the file name, e.g.Jeremy Rolfe - Pellaea rotundifolia.jpg - drag and drop the photos to the bar at the top of the editing page
- rename the photos by prefixing the photographers' name followed by "
