Unite for Recovery

TTC is concerned for the health of its members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please follow official advice, and traffic light guidance. Tararua Tramping Club fully supports the government’s emphasis on vaccination to safeguard New Zealanders.

To safeguard our members, our club policy is that only fully vaccinated people are now eligible to take part in the club’s activities: going on club trips; attending club nights and other events; or using Tararua Lodge and Waerenga hut. Exceptions are for those with an official medical exemption, and those too young to be vaccinated.

As always, TTC trip leaders determine who goes on their trips. GC will fully support their decisions. General Committee and trip leaders rely on the integrity and honesty of members to comply with this policy, and to share your vaccination status with trip leaders.

Club activities are paused until the alert level returns to Orange.

Club activities will continue while the alert level is at Red. Some activities may be postponed for cancelled. Vaccine passes are required. The club will continue with online clubnights.

TTC monitors and responds to the government's advice for the community and information from members. Please contact a General Committee member if you feel the club can help in any way. The club urges you to stay in touch and care for each other.

Please keep safe and please do not attend club activities if there is any possibility you are at risk, or may be off-colour or ill.

Thank you
